Employee Settings

Org. unit assignment, absence limit, work calendar settings and employee roles


  • Click Employees in the menu to see the Employee List.
  • Search for an employee using the filter.
  • To view the employee's detail click on the login or pencil icon (Figure 1)

1. Org. unit assignment


  • At the bottom of Employee Settings fill in the field Organizational unit and assign the employee to an organizational unit (Figure 2)

  • The employee's supervisor will be assigned according to who is superior to the org. unit.


2. Time off settings


  • To edit the time off limits select Time off settings.
  • Enter the number of days of entitlement to absence, and choose the option to transfer days from last year, if applicable. (Figure 3)

3. Work calendar assignment

  • Click on Work calendar settings and choose +New to assign a new calendar.
  • Select the date Valid From, calendar name and default project and activity (Attendance module only)
  • Save (Figure 4)

4. Employee roles

  • Click Employee roles to add or remove a role for an employee (Figure 5)
  • To add a new role, click on the pencil icon or + icon, select the organizational unit for which the role should be designated and confirm by clicking ✔
  • To delete the role click on the trash icon
